A successful season

Pembrokeshire County Schools FA has had a very successful season culminating with the Under 11’s Tom Yeoman Squad crowned joint Welsh Schools Champions with Cardiff and Vales Schools. This year they extended their provision to give more opportunities for Pembrokeshire children to represent their schools. They have run under 8’s, under 9’s, under 10’s, under 11’s, under 12’s, under 13’s and under 15’s representative sides.

This has been due to the dedication and commitment of the new coaches and the fantastic support from the parents.

Welsh County Schools matches are played against a very high standard of opposition as all players, regardless of their club, can play for their school and county (including players who are signed with Premier and Championship League clubs). This provides a pathway towards the WSFA Under 18s National Teams. Scouts from Premier and Championship League clubs attend county schools matches.

The Pembrokeshire Schools FA goes from strength to strength and will shortly be holding trials for next season’s squads. Information will shortly be forwarded to all Pembrokeshire Primary and Secondary School.
